The Button Shop opened its doors at 235-237 Pennywell Road on May 24th, 2001. The Button Shop creates employment for individuals with a developmental disability. The clients who work at the Button Shop can choose to either work full or part time. All work completed at the Button Shop is done on a contract basis which is secured through the business community.

Individuals who work at the Button Shop receive minimum wage for every hour worked.

The following is a list of examples of work completed:

- Promotional Buttons
- Bird/Duck Food packaging for the Bowring Park Foundation
- Office Overload including:

     - Folding
     - Collating
     - Stamping and Sealing Envelopes
